The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation is the world’s largest non-government funder of pediatric brain tumor research and they have supported projects in over 50 institutions including Institutes at Duke University, The University of California, San Francisco and the Hospital for Sick Children in Canada. Their scientists continue to work together pioneering research with practical applications such as experimental vaccines and less invasive treatments. Every day, 10 families in the United States receive the news that their child has a brain tumor with 75% of those diagnosed under the age of 15. The research The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation conducts is crucial to saving children’s lives and improving survivors’ quality of life.
On behalf of The 2013 Ride for Kids® and The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, The Providence Group hopes that you are able to participate in the 2013 Ride for Kids® or take time to donate to this important cause that affects so many families throughout the Unites States.
