April showers bring May flowers – and spring activities throughout Suwanee! With the season finally heating up, there are plenty of events throughout the Suwanee area for residents and families to enjoy:

Gwinnett March for Babies
Join Gwinnett March of Dimes on Saturday, April 27, 2019, from 9 a.m. to noon for a walk benefitting babies and their health! Whether you are a family team, company team or simply walking with friends, this is a great cause benefitting real, local families. Click here to register for this event at Suwanee Town Center Park, located at 330 Town Center Avenue in Suwanee or to make a donation.

Star 94.1’s Queso 5K and Woofstock
Kick off Cinco de Mayo weekend with Star 94.1 at its Queso 5K and Woofstock, both on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Suwanee Town Center Park. As if chips and queso aren’t motivation enough, furry friends are invited for this dog-friendly race, too! So, bring your friends, sombreros, salt and lime and enjoy chip dipping at the finish line. Click here to register and learn more.

After the Queso 5K, stick around for Woofstock, “Atlanta’s Largest Pet Party in the Park!” Fun for the whole family, Woofstock serves as one of the biggest pet adoption events in the Southeast featuring a variety of activities including live music, dog contests, pet vendors, pet adoptions, arts and crafts, local food trucks and more. Dogs, cats, birds, ferrets and pets of all kinds are welcome, but all animals MUST be on a leash.

Suwanee Jazz Fest
Join the North Gwinnett Arts Association at Suwanee Jazz Fest, an evening eclectic, smooth jazz under the stars at Suwanee Town Center Park. Beginning at 6 p.m. and running until 10 p.m., this perfect night out will feature local food trucks, eateries and vendors with food, drinks and cocktails. While general admission is free, a table for six can be purchased for a VIP experience in the front row.

Red, White, Bluegrass and Bach
What would Memorial Day weekend be without live music and a tribute to the troops? Join the City of Suwanee for this annual event on Friday, May 24, 2019, from 7 to 10 p.m. Featuring patriotic tunes from Main Street Orchestra, bluegrass music, veteran salute, food trucks and more, there will be something for everyone at this red, white and blue event!
