Explore Downtown Woodstock with Cherokee County Resident Amy Turcotte

April 28th, 2019

The Providence Group VP of Marketing, Social Media and Digital Sales Kelly Fink recently spent the day with Cherokee County resident and Idylwilde Sales Manager Amy Turcotte to explore downtown Woodstock and get a taste of what life in Cherokee County is like – it was very egg-citing!

Downtown Woodstock, named one of the Top 50 Places to Live in the U.S., is located walking distance from Mason Main and close by to Idylwilde in Canton. Featuring a variety of local dining and shopping destinations as well as recreation options, there is something for everyone in this charming railroad town.

Amy, a 20-year Cherokee County resident, has kept herself busy from starting her own hot dog restaurant on East Main Street in Canton, Georgia to working with The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), local publications and businesses, Goshen Valley Boys Ranch, Cherokee Parks and Recreation and local government, to name a few.

Kelly and Amy made several stops in their exploration of downtown Woodstock beginning with lunch at Partners II Pizza, the perfect place to get a slice and brew on the way to one of the Concerts in the Park! That’s right, areas of downtown Woodstock are considered a part of the “entertainment district” that allows to-go adult beverages!

Next stop was the Idylwilde Sales Center in Canton. Priced from the mid-$300,000s, Idylwilde is a gated community of single-family homes featuring ranch, traditional two-story and main-level owner’s suite designs. Community amenities will include a clubhouse, pool, lighted tennis courts and ponds and greenspace throughout.
