When it comes to furnishing and designing a home, you can often boil down approaches into two schools of thought. One for those who appreciate appearance and aesthetic. Another for those that appreciate practicality and usefulness. For the 2024 St. Jude Dream Home in Atlanta located in the Brackley neighborhood in Cumming, both design approaches are utilized.

Looking at the interior and the exterior of this one-of-a-kind St. Jude Dream Home, you can see the commitment to both detail and excellence.
“This home is much more than simply wood and bricks. We’ve worked with a tremendous number of partners who are also committed to the work of St. Jude to bring the best to this giveaway and to whoever wins the home,” said Terance B. Manly, Director of Design at the Providence Group.
Inside the home, you will find it expertly designed and decorated with the use of what Manly calls simple organic textures throughout. Everything is earth tones with added interest being brought in from the texture utilized in the trim walls and fabrics. The home will feature beautiful gold lighting and faucet fixtures to make a dramatic statement.
“We went with a lighter wood tone and shades of beige,” Manly added. “It’s about connecting the person inside with the world outside – staying organic – while also keeping it warm, inviting and timeless.”
There is a lot of richness throughout this 3-story home featuring 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. From the tile utilized in the bathrooms to the light wood tone cabinets, with sprinkles of darker tones throughout the bedroom. The open concept kitchen features cream tone cabinets and a white oak vent hood that will match the living room fireplace façade.
When it comes to the colors and accents in the home, the more organic the better. Furnishings will have more cream tones utilizing linen with a play off the texture of leather in chairs in the living room. A driftwood table in the living room will tie the design together and make the house more inviting and comfortable.
The fundraising tickets are available for $100 each until the goal of 20,000 tickets sold is met. All monies raised will support St. Jude in its work to advance treatments and a cure for life-threatening pediatric diseases. The 2024 Atlanta St. Jude Dream Home will be raffled off on August 15, 2024 on live television. The Providence Group and its partners hope to raise $2+ million, with all of the proceeds going directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
