Today we’re introducing you to our favorite parts of this charming town, as well as an affordable new townhome community! Read on to find an ideal Suwanee address that blends hometown heart with everyday comfort.
What Makes Suwanee the Best Place to Live?
Living in Suwanee, you develop a sense that you’re part of something larger - a true community. When you drive downtown, you’ll notice City Hall looks out over Suwanee Town Center, a huge community green space with an amphitheater and the Big Splash interactive fountain for the kids to come cool off. It’s perfect for a picnic or a local show! There’s plenty more of interest in Suwanee - take a look at our previous blog, Enjoy Unbeatable Lifestyle in Suwanee, here.
However, for a day filled with excitement in a community space - George Pierce Park is a great option. This park has cycling and walking trails, sports fields for youth and adult sports, and a community center with lots of amenities. It all links to the massive Suwanee Creek Greenway Trail, which runs for miles throughout the city.
There’s also no shortage of community events, with one of the most popular being the Suwanee Farmers Market. Every Saturday, beginning in May and running through September, the lawn at Town Center fills with local farmers and food makers selling their wares! It’s a phenomenal place to get delicious jams, homemade bread, the freshest local veggies, and plenty more.
Live Near Parks Throughout Suwanee
Besides George Pierce Park, Suwanee has no shortage of wonderful park spaces. We’ve actually chosen locations for all three of our communities here that give you the easiest access to the city’s green spaces.
Suwanee Towneship, our affordable townhome community just a short drive from Suwanee Town Center, is moments away from beautiful Sims Lake Park. This community park features a 7-acre lake, looping trail, open meadows, and prime picnic spots for a weekend outing among serene surroundings.

This beautiful green space features an orchard, community gardening plots, and so much more - all right on your doorstep.
And Ellington, with townhomes and single family homes on Suwanee Creek Road, is attached directly to Peachtree Ridge Park. The park features 154 acres with sports fields, a 1-mile trail, and a wonderful community garden. An entrance directly from Ellington into the park is being planned here as well.
