Invesco QQQ Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon and 5K

Ice Skating at The Park Tavern (Piedmont Park)

Another spectacular annual ice skating event occurs at Piedmont Park from Sunday, Nov 27th – Wednesday, February 15th! This is one of the longest-running outdoor skating venues of the holiday season! This 85-foot long, 40-foot wide rink includes fantastic amenities to make your visit memorable, including a heated garden tent to rest and relax, adult-only skate time after 8:30 PM (16+), and reserved food platters for private parties.

Avalon on Ice

Taking inspiration from Rockefeller Station in NYC is ATL's premier Avalon on Ice experience! Now, from November 19th – January 15th, you can enjoy the open-air skating rink and a host of fantastic family-friendly activities. On the opening night of the skating rink, The Lighting of Avalon event takes place. Concerts from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra is hosting musical events all month long. November kicks off with orchestral musical selections from various composers, including Brahms, Rachmaninov, and Dvořák. The two concerts directed by Nathalie Stutzman, Song of Destiny from November 2-4and Dvořák New World Symphony from November 9-11, are beautiful ways to start the winter season.

The Classics | Honoring Black Women in Symphonic Music – On November 18th, enjoy this special featured event, highlighting Black women's past, present, and future contributions and accomplishments in classical music. Vocal and spoken word performances from Spelman students and professionals in the field will make this program one to remember!

Home Alone: Live in Concert – This event from November 25-26 will bring out an eager crowd! A true holiday favorite, this beloved comedy classic features renowned composer John Williams' charming and exciting musical score performed live to picture by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. A large projector will show the scenes from the movie, making this a great event for the whole family!

Watch a Show at the Center of Puppetry Arts

Playing at The Center of Puppetry Arts is a unique show your children will adore! Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer™ is a holiday classic for the ages.
