The Providence Group has brought decades of experience to the creation of elevated homes in every neighborhood we build. With this in mind, we were delighted to be selected to build the first St. Jude Dream Home in metro Atlanta. Our designers and dedicated builders have been hard at work since breaking ground in November 2022.

We talked about the beginning stages in our February blog  but you may be curious about what’s next. This home is one of our lovely and practical  Kincaid floor plan designs with a large owner’s  suite on the main floor. This room is stunning as well as practical and features a gorgeous wood inlay tray ceiling and upgraded flooring and board-and-batten wall design. Settle into your owner’s suite sitting area with a great book.  Wake up to your favorite beverage from the wonderful coffee bar or under-counter fridge and choose your day’s outfit from the enormous walk in closet. The owner’s bath is designed for luxury and comfort with a deep garden tub, separate shower, and double granite-topped vanity.

Now these images are mere samples of the extraordinary finishes we've planned - just to set the stage and give you an idea of what our master carpenters are working on. We know that it’s easier to imagine yourself in a place if you can picture it. We have no doubt that when this home is unveiled in just a few weeks, the actual features are going to be a one-of-a-kind treat for all to see!

In the great room, the breathtaking fireplace boasts a floor-to-ceiling grid feature design. This terrific open floor plan leads into the beautiful chef-inspired kitchen. With future gourmet homeowners in mind, this inspired kitchen features top-of-the-line Bosch 800 Series  stainless steel appliances. There’s a 30” wide BOSCH 800 Series Combination Oven, and a dual-fuel freestanding range that creates an all-in-one cooking center. The 24” built-in coffee maker with Wi-Fi controls allows you to order your espresso, cappuccino, or regular Americano from another room. The Bosch 800 3 rack dishwasher with intelligent sensors will help you keep it clean while the full sized counter-depth french door refrigerator completes the package with style. This all sits among gorgeous floor-to-ceiling wooden cabinetry and granite countertops. It’s a culinary dream!

How Do You Make It Yours?

The 15,000 Raffle tickets will be available - at $100 each - on May 11. One week before tickets go on sale (May 4), join us during our floor-signing event to show appreciation for everyone involved in building the Dream Home Giveaway House. Throughout the day, participants will be encouraged to write warm messages and well-wishes on the subfloor. Stickers will be available for all major sponsors so they can leave their mark. Flooring will not be installed until after this event so all attendees can view the heart and soul that’s gone into the creation of this wonderful home.

Stay tuned for our sneak peek event coming this summer so that The Providence Group Can shine the spotlight on the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway with television and media coverage. Here, we will be able to publicly thank and acknowledge our builders and major construction sponsors who brought this dream to fruition. We’ll also have the opportunity to share the story of our St. Jude patient and introduce the patient’s family. The event will culminate with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the builder and the patient family.

And The Lucky Winner Is…

Open House Tours will be available on weekends from Saturday, July 8th to Sunday, July 30th. Hopeful ticket holders are invited to walk through the completed home so they can imagine their newly elevated life in the Millcroft community in Buford.
