It’s a season with no end of reasons to step outside and enjoy the city’s plentiful options for outdoor activities. In addition to parks, greenways, and even a gorgeous
community garden, Suwanee’s outdoor attractions include a vibrant town center with an amphitheater, splash fountain, and green space galore. On the greenway trails, in all the city parks, and even right in the town center itself, residents know two big Suwanee traditions are already here! Read on to find out how you can get free art just for enjoying a stroll outside, and where you’ll find locally-grown produce and other goodies to enjoy when you go back home.
Also, we have
three incredible new home communities right outside of downtown Suwanee - moments away from Town Center Park and only minutes to the rest of the city’s other greenways and parks. Homeowners here will have access to every Suwanee event year-round - as well as a gorgeous new home from The Providence Group.
Suwanee Township has a small handful of new home opportunities available now, but
Harvest Park and the brand new phase in

Keep an Eye Out All May: Art on a Limb
First up, longtime Suwanee residents know to keep their eyes peeled all during the month of May for
Art on a Limb! This citywide event encourages residents and visitors to see all of Suwanee’s beautiful parks - because they might find themselves a brand new piece of handmade art to take home! Every day, a new piece of art is hidden on one of the hundreds of trees lining park paths and greenways throughout Suwanee, and anyone who comes across one of these special prizes gets to keep it. Previous pieces have included leaf ornaments and fairy doors, and this year’s artist Anna Fleckenstein has donated pieces created by her daughters. Beautiful hummingbirds made of scrap galvanized metal and painted in unique folk art designs are flitting among the trees of Suwanee, get out and see if you’re lucky enough to catch one for yourself!
Shop Local: Suwanee Farmers Market
It’s farmers market season, and whether or not you’ve successfully caught an artsy hummingbird to take home, you can absolutely catch some of the freshest produce around at the
Suwanee Farmers Market. Right in Town Center Park, you’ll find fresh flowers, local honey, eggs, salsa, jams and jellies, and - of course - the season’s very best fruits and vegetables. Every Saturday from now until September 8 AM - noon, you can come say hello to your neighbors, pick up something amazing for dinner, and even grab something special for yourself.
