Growing Atlanta’s Favorite Trail
The existing
Southside Trail on Atlanta’s beloved system of biking and walking paths, the
BeltLine, has been open for some time. Well-trodden and featuring interesting local scenery, this unpaved trail is getting the full BeltLine treatment with
$16.5 million in new funding as of November 2021. That means paved paths accessible on foot, by bike, and even by wheelchair, connecting both the eastside and westside trails for a full 10 miles of smooth walking and riding, with minimal street intersections. Homeowners at Pratt Stacks already have full walkability to the Southside Trail, meaning you can expect prime access to this newly-paved stretch of Atlanta’s favorite recreational amenity.
Live Near Even More to Explore
Pratt Stacks is nestled on Grant Street, immediately adjacent to The Beacon Atlanta in beautiful Grant Park. Surrounded by restaurants, retail, and more, it’s already a phenomenal neighborhood for a walkable city lifestyle. But it’s about to get even better. Residents of Pratt Stacks can currently head east, then north on the BeltLine to reach
Krog Street and other established city attractions like
Ponce City Market (about a 30 minute bike ride on the trail). But, a
newly-filed permit shows growth for the Peoplestown neighborhood near Grant Park, just to the west on the BeltLine. If the proposed new coffee shop, Peoplestown Coffee, is any indication, there’s growing interest in developing the area around Pratt Stacks. That means interested homebuyers have a limited time to get in early in this already wonderful neighborhood, and watch as they’re surrounded by new restaurants, retail, and exciting urban growth.
